Developmental Specialist for Mathematics
David Lo received his Master of Business & Science in Personal Care Science at Rutgers Graduate School and Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at Seton Hall. David has over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience in a variety of courses from the maths to sciences, winning several teaching awards. He has significant experience in many aspects of the health care system from administration to clinical experience and has advised many students on applying and preparing for health professional schools.
David is also the co-founder and CFO of a health screening nonprofit called North American Disease Intervention (www.NADIaid.org) which trains volunteers to provide free health screenings (BP, BMI, EKG, etc.) to members in the community. Since 2014, the nonprofit has trained over 450 volunteers to conduct over 2000 health workshops across New Jersey. His teaching and research interests lie in developing more effective and efficient study methods for students and distilling difficult concepts into simple explanations.
