The Cancer Institute of New Jersey: Bringing research to life. The CURE program at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) provides research training and academic and professional enrichment activities for highly motivated, local, underserved students (high school and undergraduate). The program accepts 7 students total: 3 from ODASIS and 4 from New Brunswick Technical High School.

Selected students are required to commit at least 4 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week during the summer to their research and program activities for a minimum of two years.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Student must be an Access-Med Phase I student
  • Student should have an overall GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Student must be a sophomore in college
